Random chat

Okay, so I’m going to write about something totally unrelated to books or movies or tv shows, etc.

I was researching on Google to see if I could figure out why girls in movies sometimes have chips in their nails (bad chips, I mean, like obvious ones), just because I was curious.
And while I never did find an answer to that question, I found some posts where people were asking why girls let their nail polish chip.

And someone said they thought girls shouldn’t let their nail polish chip (which they can, because it’s no one else’s business) and someone said girls only do their nails for boys.

Now, both of these people are wrong, or at least I think so.
Because if a girl doesn’t have the time (or even if she doesn’t want to) repair or take off her nail polish if it’s chipped, she can. Who cares if it’s not pretty, as long as she’s happy?

And that leads nicely into my next topic.
Which is that I paint my nails all the time, and I definitely do NOT do it for boys, or for anyone other than me.

I believe boys don’t care about polish - at least, my brother doesn’t - for the most part. It’s a girl thing, and in my case it’s a ME thing.

I love to see what other girls are wearing, because it’s one of those small things that makes me happy, to see pretty colors on my nails (and on other people’s nails too).

And it made me feel bad that some girls do it just for boys, or for other girls, or for anyone other than themselves.

Anyway, what I mean is that if you’re going to go through the trouble of doing something (whatever it is) do it for YOU, because you like it, not for anyone else. Pretty please???

Like, for instance, I’ve been wearing heeled sneakers this week.
And they hurt my feet, but I love them. I’m short, and they make me feel good about myself, because they make my legs look nice.

I don’t care if boys stare, if girls get jealous, or if it hurts me. I like them, and that’s all that matters.

I’m not sure if this was helpful, but I just wanted to say that it’s okay to be you, whoever you are, and that you shouldn’t do something unless it’s for you.

That’s a lesson that took me forever to learn, but the sooner you learn it, the better, because then you can just be you.

I’m starting to sound like a broken record, and I’m going to stop. I want to read some Great Expectations right now anyway. Goodnight. :)

And here’s my copy of Allegiant. Looks like any other, but I said I’d put it up, so I am.

Just posting some random pictures. There’s my obsession with cars again - only now we can add jeeps to the list, since Stiles has one - and my obsession with cats.

Oh, and the shark sign. I want to see a shark - outside the movies, but without being eaten - so I need to discover an aquarium that has one.

So, I just finished reading Enders, and I’m wondering if there’s a third book coming, and also afraid to find that there isn’t.

This book was AMAZING, which is why I’m reviewing it today.

Just to warn you, there’ll be spoilers. There might not be, but I’m just saying this because I don’t plan on holding back in talking about it, because I’m kind of psyched right now.

So, let’s start with the beginning. I was kind of bored, because I wanted (I’ve wanted this since the end of book one) Callie and Blake to become a thing. (Trust me, if you agree, by the end of this book you’ll change your mind, even if I still want to know Blake better.)

They didn’t, and there was way too much Michael in this book. I really hate him, I think he’s so annoying, there were times when I wished he would die.
In the whole book, there was only one time when I sort of liked him, but then he got annoying again (and that was within the first ten chapters, I think).

And then, we have (SPOILER)…

(I’m waiting for you to leave if you haven’t read this book)

…Hyden. Who is partly responsible for my hatred of Michael, and my change of heart concerning Blallie (Blake & Callie. I don’t know if they have a name, but I’m calling them that).

He’s amazing, and for the hundredth time, I’m in love with a boy in a book. I don’t know how I’ll ever get a boyfriend in real life this way (not that I want one, really. Real boys are trouble).
Anyway, I was already in love with Blake in book one, even after I found he was the Old Man - especially when he talked to Callie at the end. I desperately need to meet a boy like that, who loves books as much as I do. (Will Herondale, anyone?)

But (SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

…after I found out the Old Man was actually an young man, or a Starter, we can say I fell in love again. Way to make a love triangle, Lissa Price.

Wait, I think that’s actually a love square, since I think Michael is kind of into Callie (though I certainly hope she isn’t into him).

Anyway…Hyden, right. That whole thing with his skin (I’m not going to warn spoilers anymore. Shame on you if you’ve gotten this far, past the first warning), is really horrible.
I mean, no one can touch you? That’s terrible. Makes me think my daddy issues really aren’t that big in the issue scale.

I’m trying to think of what I’m forgetting. There’s probably something else I want to say (there always is) but I can’t remember anything right now.

Oh, well. If it’s groundbreaking, I’ll just make another post about it.

In short, I want another book. Two is too little. Maybe three? Or six? I could do with six.

But, unfortunately, I think this is the last book. If I’m wrong, please contradict me!

Now, I know I did the last review in a different format, but I just wanted to ramble here, and because I’m a random person, every review will be different (look at it this way: you will never be bored).

I wanted to write down some quotes, but it’s getting late, and I have to go work out, and then I’m going to watch Reign and read another book and copy quotes and do other Saturday things like that.

I’m thinking of making a video, and I cut the chosen song already (I always do that first) but my inspiration is missing right now. Maybe I’ll go look for her.

See? You can always count on me for the dumbest jokes ever, even if I fancy myself witty for some reason.
See you guys later. ;)

PS: let’s choose a name for Hyden & Callie! I’m thinking Hallie, but would Cyden be weird? Or Clake (for Blake & Callie) ?

I am not good at this.

I promised book pictures, so here’s one.

I know I said I would have one of Allegiant, but since I’m writing a review, I’m going to wait to put the picture out with that.

Teen Wolf’s Killer (literally) Finale

Seriously, this is not so much about the finale as to ask, What happened to the rest of the cast?
As in, everyone other than Stiles, Scott, Lydia, and Derek - don’t even dare to mention Malia, because I’m pretending she doesn’t exist for the sake of my sanity - is pretty much gone.

First, it was Allison, and then Ethan AND Aiden, plus Isaac??? What the HELL is going on here?,???!??

I mean, I’m excited to see Arden Cho next season, and for Stiles and Lydia to Finally (yes, with a capital F, because I’ve been waiting a long time for this) jump each other’s bones, but other than that, not much is interesting me now about it.

Scott is always cute, though I’m miffed because Allison was really insensitive to Isaac, and it’s a shame we won’t get to see him and Scott switching roles in a repeat of the scenes in which Scott slammed Isaac against walls. I think we need that role-reversed, please.

It’s not like it ended in that I-need-to-know-what-happens-next-right-now and banging-my-head-against-the-wall-until-my-brain-is-gone that ALWAYS happens with Vampire Diaries.

In fact, I wasn’t even that curious, because I was never a really big fan of Kate’s, and the whole Malia-becoming-a-regular thing is seriously making me want to blow my brains out - or at least skip straight through her scenes.

Also, if Malia and Stiles become a thing, I swear I’m going to drop dead right then and there from a brain hemorrhage caused by excessive stress. Because I’ve been waiting for Stydia since what feels like the Dawn of Time - or, more accurately, since this summer, Christmas, because it’s summer here in December - which is when I got addicted to the show.

Oh, and by the way, I have a game suggestion for you guys if any of you have an iPhone or iPod touch (like me) or even an Android one (though I’m not sure if this game is available in that platform) and love kittens, there’s this game called Bread Kittens where you can collect kitten breeds, and give them names, and cook bread, and it’s very fun, in my opinion.

Feel free to check it out, because I think it’s pretty cool. Good night, everybody. :)
